Brian is a retired Federal civil servant with over 25 years of Human Resources experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as a retired military officer after 27 years of honorable service with the United States Air Force. Brian received his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and later his master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Central Michigan University. With his extensive background and knowledge in Human Resources and the Federal Retirement system, Brian’s goal is to help Federal Employees understand their options and make informed decisions to maximize their benefits and chart a course for their financial success in retirement.

Brian, and his wife Shelleen, currently reside in the Smith Mountain Lake area of Virginia. Together they are the proud parents of four children and grandparents of four grandchildren. When not working, Brian enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and boating at the lake.
