James Torres is a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army. He has over 30 years as a Financial Professional educating and serving Federal Employees in both English and Spanish in multiple states. Over the years James has held a variety of upper-level corporate positions which makes him a wonderful asset to the Federal Retirement Experts family. With his many years in multiple facets of the finance industry he has gained insight into various financial strategies, and he will teach you the most efficient ways to reach your financial goals through Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, Social Security Planning, Estate Planning, Long Term Care, Debt Elimination/Reduction and more.

As a member of NARFE (National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association) as well as FFEBA (Federation of Federal Employee Benefit Advocacy), James has gained extensive knowledge and experience in federal employee benefits and he enjoys sharing that knowledge with others.

James and wife, Maria, reside in Southeast Florida and have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. James is a highly active community leader serving in various community programs to feed veterans and the poor, volunteers at his church in the Benevolence Ministry where he offers free Financial Education & Guidance and serves domestic and international missions.
